Like little DaiDai, this design was part of a series of robot design explorations. Only in this study, I wanted to design around a function as well as form. The M-62A was conceived around the idea of a exploration or survey type robot. Whether slithering around a construction site or deployed on an alien landscape, this unit would charged with gathering data and relaying it back to station. Again, this is one design I’d like to see modeled in 3D one day.
