Welcome to the new site remix! This is the spot for every and all things CHOCOLATE SOOP™ related. There are simply too many places for me to have to keep track of, so I decided to try to keep it all in one place. Of course you can still choose to follow me on Facebook ,twitter, Instagram, behance and LinkedIn, but at the end of the day they all start and end here.
To all of our friends, family and creative cohorts around the world.
We would like to wish you a heart felt Happy New Year!!!
2013 is already shaping up to be a awesome year of new projects and partnerships.
Nothing would make us happier than to contribute positively to the mix and as a result see all of us grow and prosper on our paths as we move forward.
In Japanese culture, Eto (the Zodiac calendar) starts on the first day of the new year. This year is the year of the snake, and it is said that if you see a white snake, it will bring big luck. So in the spirit of that we are present to you （びゃくだ) Byakuda, a little horned white snake to help kick the year off right.
“In this third installment of my 2d drawing sessions, I have created a little Anime style tribute to the late Tezuka Osamu . Born in Osaka Prefecture, he is best known as the creator of Astro Boy, Kimba the White Lion, and Black Jack. He is often credited as the “Godfather of Anime” and is often considered the Japanese equivalent to Walt Disney, who served as a major inspiration during his formative animation/cartooning years. His prolific artistic output, pioneering drawing techniques, and innovative redefinitions of animation genres earned him such titles as “the father of manga”, “the god of comics”, and “kamisama of manga”. Hope you like.
This is the 2nd instalment of the Draw Session tutorials. The result of this exploration came out looking like it could be a ultra rare ancient Pokémon. Hope you enjoy.

With the goal of creating process and how-to videos on the regular, I’ve created the first of what I’m calling (for lack of a better title) Draw Session. The videos will basically show the process I go through in sketching out concepts designs.
After a year hiatus the SPARK Animation events are back and better than ever. I’ve been lucky to have been involved with SPARK for the past few years now as the art director. Here’s a look at the postcard I created for the event. Join us on September 12, as we celebrate the launch of our fantastic film festival.
In recognition of “the end of the world as we know it~” 2012, the Signs of the Apocalypse Show at My Plastic Heart opens Friday August 3rd. Curated by Lou Pimentel, the show has a long list of super talented folk on it. Inspired by the origami piece done by fellow Vancouverite Joseph Wu who did the 4 horses of the Apocalypse, I decided do my take on the riders. If you’re interested in getting the set of prints (4), please email email@example.com to inquire about availability.
